Working for Guardian House, RGP Architects worked with consultant architect Alex Dobbie to secure planning consent for a new, world class golf course and clubhouse, funded by 57 individually designed villas at Saulmore, just outside Oban.

The siting of the houses was designed with careful consideration to the stunning natural beauty of the area. The design language uses contemporary detailing with Scottish vernacular massing and proportions to create undoubtedly modern houses which sit comfortably in their rural location. All houses will be finished to an extremely high specification and sustainable design is integral, with passive design, high insulation values and wood burning stoves.
